How to stay motivated in your life

by - August 29, 2017

Eather you're going back to college, high school, work or starting up a new business all you need is motivation to keep going and not give up. Which is not that  easy.
As a senior year student, I know that this year is gonna be a long one. There's a lot of pressure and stress. Staying inspired and enthusiastic is my number 1 goal. Today i decided to share with you guys my tips to keep my self motivated all the way through. So get excited because you're about to get the key to the climb the ladder of success.

Determine your big goals

The first step, before anything, is to know what you want exactly. And this the most important phase to actually achieving them. So take your time and think about it.

Set small objectives

When your goals are long term, it's very likely to loose encouragement. However setting smaller goals makes you feel like you're really moving forward and making some steps towards your main purpose.

 Write them down

Either big or small, it's very important to write down your aims. It gives you a clear vision of what you really want and what you have to do. It also helps you to make them concrete.

Make a plan

Now, some people say that it's better to not make a plan. But spontaneous acts don't always work as desired. And we don't really wanna risk our ambitions. Thinking about the how is very helpful to set your mind.

Recognize the progress

Sometimes you gotta step back so you can tell how far you have come since day 1. It's a great way to remotivate.

Reward yourself

After recognizing your growth, you gotta cheer yourself up by a little prize to solidify that proud feeling and to keep moving and working even harder.

Get inspired

Things get tough sometimes. And this is exactly when it's so hard to keep pushing forward. When you're feeling down don't let this emotion immerse you. Get yourself up and do whatever inspires you. Read, listen or see whatever makes you enthusiastic. Whether from someone you admire or someone who achieved what you're willing to accomplish, inspiration is everywhere just use it to your advantage!

Share the journey

Use others to help you make it to the top. Share your energy and positivity with each other and lift you up when lacking inspiration.

Make it fun

The journey might be long. So don't get bored. Try new things! Don't be afraid to go through new experiences. It helps you love what you're doing, and makes the path easier. Don't forget that the journey is as important as the final goal. So keep the energy up and break the boring routine.

Failure is a new beginning and not an end

Challenges are always on your way. You have to overcome to stay in the path. But remember that it's okay to fail as long as you're learning from it. When you hit the blocks on your way once, bounce the next time. It's a great way to keep learning and growing.

  4. I agree with your take to Reese's comment - When you accomplish something, small or big, you're driven to do more.

The part that I like the most is about rewarding oneself. A simple ice cream treat can so easily come under it. The essence is positive incentivization.

  11. Great post. I find it hard to remain balanced. I run a side business, my blog, work full-time, and I have three kids. Sometimes it's nice to have a reminder that we cannot do it all, and that we need time to ourselves to recharge in order to be effective in other areas of our lives. Thank you for the content! I will pin this for the reminder when I am feeling overwhelmed.

  13. Perhaps the best advice in this post (there's plenty, for sure) is to set small objectives. Big goals can be daunting. Little ones, not so much, and they get us there, step by step. Good luck with school!

  21. These are all excellent and very helpful tips.

Everyone needs some guidance or orientation in order to reach an objective or goal which is why it's so important to establish them or write them down.

Taking one day at a time and go at our own pace is equally important.

In the end, we are the result of what we decide on and if its not of our liking or its what's best for us, we can always change it!

Keep up the good work and best of luck in your senior year
